Dear esteemed CEOs and staff of Bucheon Technopark Complex 3 member companies,
Amid the challenging domestic and international economic environment, I sincerely extend my deepest gratitude and encouragement to all of you who, more than anyone, contribute faithfully to the development of our national economy.
As the globalization of the world economy accelerates, uncertainty in economic conditions continues to amplify. In particular, our highly export-dependent economy is more sensitive than any other to shifts in global affairs.
Amid the prolonged international recession, slowing domestic demand, and rising raw material prices, I know well that the executives and staff of each member company are working day and night for survival.
As Chairman of the Representative Council, in order to add even a small measure of strength to such efforts of each member company, I will work to create the optimal environment in which you can focus on your business activities.
To this end, internally I will improve the efficiency of the Support Headquarters and develop new policies, while externally I will cooperate with related institutions to seek various forms of support and measures for SME growth — laying the foundation for the development of our complex and, more broadly, of technoparks and SMEs.
As the "elder brother" among the various high-tech companies residing in Bucheon Technopark, Complex 3 will do its utmost — through the expansion and refinement of the projects we have advanced thus far — to contribute to economic vitalization going forward.
